Instruction

1. Prepare the Steak:
Remove the Wagyu ribeye steak from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature for about 30 minutes.

2. Preheat the Grill or Skillet:
Preheat your grill to high heat or heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat until very hot.

3. Sear the Steak:
Place the steak on the hot grill or skillet. Sear for about 4-5 minutes on one side without moving it, allowing a rich crust to form. Flip the steak and cook for another 4-5 minutes on the other side.

4. Check the Temperature:
Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. For medium-rare, aim for 130°F (54°C). Adjust cooking time as necessary depending on your preferred doneness.

5. Rest the Steak:
Remove the steak from the grill or skillet and let it rest on a cutting board for 5-10 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.

6. Slice and Serve:
Slice the ribeye against the grain into thick pieces. Serve immediately, possibly with a sprinkle of finishing salt and a side of your choice to complete the gourmet experience.
