While the cap had a robust beefy flavor and subtle buttery tones, there were portions of the eye that were on the verge of being ruined. I first noticed the slight spoilage when I opened the vacuum sealed bag. Sometimes, when steaks are vacuum sealed for a period of time, they can develop a rather off-putting smell. However, this smell usually dissipates after a few minutes. In my case, the smell never dissipated, and it marred the delicate flavors inherent to the eye. This was very disappointing as the steak had a unique flavor that could’ve surpassed some of Australia’s finest programs like Stone Axe, Mayura Station, etc.
This company goes above and beyond! I had received 2 day free shipping. Without asking, the store was worried I wanted the steaks for Christmas, which I did. So, they sent the steaks one day shipping totally on them!
The steaks were absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this butcher shop. I was so nervous ordering from an online store but I will definitely order from them again.

Don't get me wrong, this is really an excellent steak but hard to eat more than a few pieces due to how rich the texture is. Don't eat alone in my opinion.

I’d heard of A5 Miyazaki but didn’t think I’d ever get to try it at home. Nowhere near where I live has a steak like this. This steak is in a league of its own. Rich, buttery, and incredibly tender—everyone should experience this at least once!
