Instruction

1. Prepare the Steak:
Remove the Miyazaki A5 Wagyu Filet Steak from the refrigerator and allow it to come to room temperature for about 30-45 minutes. This step ensures even cooking.

2. Preheat Your Grill or Pan:
Preheat your grill or a cast iron skillet over high heat.

3. Cook the Filet Steak:
Place the steak on the hot grill or skillet. Sear for about 5-7 minutes on each side for medium-rare, targeting an internal temperature of around 130°F (54°C). Avoid pressing down on the steak to retain its juices.

4. Rest the Steak:
Once cooked, remove the Filet steak from the heat and let it rest for 5-10 minutes. This resting period allows the juices to redistribute, resulting in a tender and flavorful steak.

5. Slice and Serve:
Slice the steak against the grain for maximum tenderness. Serve on a warm plate, optionally garnished with fresh herbs or a drizzle of high-quality olive oil.

Hard to eat a lot of it

Don't get me wrong, this is really an excellent steak but hard to eat more than a few pieces due to how rich the texture is. Don't eat alone in my opinion.

PERFECT for hosting

I host dinner parties once a month and always love trying new things. I have always purchased wagyu from my grocery store but the stuff they have is nothing like this. This would make any gathering with friends impressive.
